Kits designed to support Caregivers of those living with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and other memory issues. Each kit features books, DVDs, CDs, games, and activities to spark conversation, memories, and interactions.

What are Compassionate Care Kits
Each kit is designed to benefit caregivers and their loved ones who are living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other memory issues. Each kit provides activities to start conversations, reminisce together, and maintain skills such as hand-eye coordination, finer motor skills, reading, and communication.
Compassionate Care Kits were created in partnership with Citrus Libraries and Dementia Education, Inc. Our goal is to provide a resource to help caregivers engage with their loved ones and create moments of joy by reconnecting, sparking conversation, and sharing quality time together.
Kits are themed focusing on music, gardening, nature, sewing, tools, trains, military, art, dogs, cats, and more. All Citrus Libraries Branches have kits available for checkout.
Each kit contains a a free copy of Coping with Dementia: Thoughts on the Philosophy, Principles, and Practice of Person-Centered Compassionate Care written by Debbie Selsavage.
