Library Computers will be Temporarily Unavailable

The public computers at all five branches of the Citrus County Library System will be temporarily unavailable on Tuesday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 16 while system updates are being completed. The branches will continue to have wi-fi capabilities during this time, but computers and printing will not be accessible. The library’s system updates are expected to be completed by Thursday, April 17 upon opening.
This temporary pause in available services is the culmination of a multi-year project to provide wireless printing and additional printing services to patrons. When the updates are completed, patrons will be able to remotely print items from their personal devices in black-and-white and color printing options. Patrons will also be able to send items to print from home, or from their mobile device, via a web portal that will be accessible on the library’s website.
The Citrus County Library System appreciates the patience of all patrons during this time, as updates can sometimes cause unexpected service interruptions. For additional information on services available at all five library branches, check the “Locations” button located at the top of the home page.
