Lasts Longer Than a Picture: Hell Creek Microfossils
Come get a snapshot into our planet’s ancient past and learn about fossils with a hands-on presentation from the Science Education Training and Support (SETS) Foundation.
This program will be held at the Lakes Region Library in Inverness on Saturday, August 17 at 11:30 AM. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from local scientists and examine the fossil remains of pre-Paleocene inhabitants from the Hell Creek formation found in our western states of Montana, Wyoming, and North and South Dakota. Explore the world from the view of the non-avian dinosaurs when you learn about the flora and fauna that lived in this area.
Library programs are free and open to the public. However, seating is limited and registration is required. Please register online using our calendar, or by calling the Lakes Region Library at (352) 726-2357.
