Hypertension – Signs, Symptoms, and Prevention
February is National Heart Health Month and Citrus Libraries has a program for you if you’re looking to learn more. On Monday, February 13 at 10:30 AM the Central Ridge Library in Beverly Hills will be hosting an information session where you’ll learn about hypertension, signs and symptoms of high blood pressure, taking blood pressure readings, and adequate hydration.
Nanci Allen, RN, BS, BC, Director of Business Development of Life Care Center of Citrus County will be discussing how to properly interpret blood pressure readings. She will also discuss preventative measures against high blood pressure, including diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
