Get Started with Raising Backyard Chickens!
Have you ever wanted to raise chickens in your own backyard? Learn how you can get started at the Coastal Region Library in Crystal River! On Monday, August 19 at 10:30 AM, join Aly Schortinghouse of UF/IFAS Extension for “Getting Started with Raising Backyard Chickens.” Participants will learn how to feed and house their birds, local laws and ordinances regarding chicken keeping, and even witness a live bird-handling demonstration! Come and have an egg-cellent time!
