Explore the History of Lighthouses at the Library

Join Ken Smith, Sectary of the US Lighthouse Society, for “Heroes,” a fascinating look into the local heroes and grassroots movements which have poured into the preservation of Florida’s history lighthouses. On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM, explore the fascinating history of lighthouses with the Coastal Region Library in Crystal River as we hear from an expert on the topic of Florida lighthouses. Ken will give a presentation, with a collectible giveaway to follow. Come learn about how these heroes shine their own light, and about their valiant quest to preserve our historic lighthouses!
