Citizenship Classes at the Library

For six consecutive weeks starting in April, the Lakes Region Library in Inverness will be offering a course of citizenship classes to help prepare attendees for the civics portion of the Citizenship Interview. Throughout the six weeks, you’ll practice reading and writing, get familiar with the N-400 form, and go over the kinds of vocabulary and terminology to expect during the oral portion of the interview.

All supplies and necessary study materials will be provided, including an English dictionary and a copy of the Declaration of Independence.

These classes will start on Thursday, April 4 and run every Thursday until May 9 from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM. Attendees are required to attend every session.

Registration for this program is required and spaces are limited. Please register with our online calendar, in person, or by calling (352) 726-2357.

Library programs are free and available to everyone. For additional information about programming please call your local branch, follow @CitrusLibraries on Facebook or Instagram. Additional information can also be found by visiting us at citruslibraries.org.
