Check and Mate! Chess Programs at the Homosassa Library

Chess is one of the oldest games in history, and no two games are ever alike! A recurring series of chess classes will begin on Wednesday, July 31 at 10:00AM at the Homosassa Library. These classes will teach you basics, various strategies, and everything in between. We can’t promise to mold you into a Grandmaster, but we will provide you with the knowledge and tools to improve your game.

Are you looking for people to play chess with? Look no further than the Homosassa Library! Beginning in September, join us on Tuesdays at 10:00AM for Battling Bishops, a new program for those interested in playing chess. All levels of experience are welcome!

These programs are free and open to everyone. For additional information about these events or other upcoming programs, visit our online calendar at attend.citruslibraries.org/events. Additional information about programs and events can also be found online by following @CitrusLibraries on Facebook or Instagram.
