C4Countdown! Coming to a Library Near You!

The library’s annual C4Con (Citrus County Comics & Cosplay Convention) event is back at the Homosassa Library on Saturday, September 14 at 9:00 AM, but the fun begins now! Get the excitement going at a branch near you!

Join the Nerd Rage! Geek Debate Club at the Central Ridge branch, and decide once and for all the definitive answers to intriguing questions like, “Could zombies actually take over?”, or “Who’s the best Star Trek captain?” This program will be on Saturday, August 24 at 12:00 PM.

Are you feeling crafty? Then get yourself to one of these programs:

Create Comic Book Wall Art at the Floral City branch on Thursday, August 29 at 3:00 PM to make unique wall décor from comic book pages, or try Kawaii Origami at the Lakes Region branch on Friday, August 30 at 2:30 PM, where you can flex your folding skills with a fun introduction to origami.

We’ll be wrapping up our countdown with the experienced radio show performers of Lewis and Young Entertainment. They will be hosting two free voice acting classes, where attendees will learn the ins-and-outs of the art of voice acting, how to convey emotion and intention through vocal nuance, and how to perfect their voice acting skills.

Join Lewis and Young Entertainment at the Homosassa branch on Saturday, August 31, or at the Lakes Region branch on Saturday, September 7. These programs will start at 10:00 AM.

Mark your calendars for C4Con on Saturday, September 14 at 9:00 AM. You will not want to miss this annual event full of vendors, games, and prizes!

These programs are free and open to everyone. For additional information about these events or other upcoming programs, visit our online calendar at attend.citruslibraries.org/events.
