Library Card Registration
Applicants (16 years and older) will be asked to verify their identity and Citrus County residency, proof of employment in Citrus County, or a valid library card from a reciprocal borrowing library. If applicants are not a resident or do not work in the County, a nonresident library card may be purchased for an annual fee. Citrus County patrons may verify residency for others living in their household.
Library cards may be issued to applicants 16 years of age and older without parental signature.
Applicants fifteen years of age and younger may obtain a library card after a completed application form has been submitted with a parent’s or guardian’s signature.
Reciprocal Borrowing Agreements:
The Citrus County Library System maintains reciprocal borrowing agreements with libraries regionally and throughout the state of Florida.
